Match Reports

Red Star Bedminster Report;

"Both teams started slowly with alot of misplaced passes. Red Star went 3-0 up half time with great team goals and a half way screamer from Darren a contender for goal of the season Henleaze fought back and Red Star did not show the composure to hold onto the lead or take at least one of three good chances Team felt like a loss at the end with Henleaze equalising in the dying minutes"

Henleaze Corinthians Report:

" A typical game of two halves. Red Star raced into a 3-0 lead thanks to some well worked goals and a top corner screamer. Albeit helped by a Henleaze masterclass in running around like headless chickens, barely putting two passes together. 2nd half Henleaze came back into the game with a Gaz Owen header from a corner. Red Star had their chances but failed to take them. The last 20 mins saw Henleaze go to an attacking formation (3-4-3) although at some point, according to Rory, felt more like (1-5-4). Another corner led to a Rhys Owen scrambled goal. Then in the last minute after a rasping cross/shot by Simon Perkins, which the Red Star keeper failed to hold, up popped Rhys Owen to bang home a well deserved equaliser. All in all probably a fair result."
