Redland Ramblers Report;

"I guess many a Casuals Club has the same issues. Thursday night, only 8 players available, can we raise a team? Sunday morning - squad of 16, how can we keep everyone happy? Both teams had chances in the first half, DAFT undoubtedly having the best chance when their forward rounded the Redland keeper and then shot wide of an empty net. A massive let off. Ramblers then continued to mount the pressure with the DAFT keeper pulling off several saves. Eventually the pressure paid off when a parried shot fell at Bruce's feet to tap home from 3 yards. Half time 1-0. The large squad definitely tipped the advantage Redland's way against a bare 11 and a cross from the right and Bruce breathing down the defender's neck led to led to an own goal to make it 2-0. More fine saves followed before Bruce got his 2nd and Ramblers' third, only to be substituted shortly afterwards. Ramblers' man of the match award went to Paul Wilcox for a calm, controlled display in the middle of midfield. Once again an excellent game played in true Corinthian spirit by both sides. "
