HC Voyager FC Report;

"A good game well played against last years winners. Within the first 15 minutes we were 2 nil up mainly due to Waj and Tahir the latter of whom not only netted the first two, but proceeded to score all 5. Unfortunately Waj around the 20 minute mark suffered a grade 2 tear and will be out for month or so. Bless Reunion for getting one of their players to take him to hospital and i have subsequently received a text from waj to pass on his heartfelt gratitude for their help. It took a long time to reorganise and in certain parts of the game we were hanging on and subsequently were 5-3 down with 5 minutes to play and although we were all visibly tiring we snatch a goal back which spurred us on to get the equaliser. There was even a chance in the last minute to take all 3 points, but it wasn't to be. Everyone really work hard to secure our first point again Reunion in a very long time and the team should be rightly pleased with the result. everyone should play reunion as they are a very skilful side and lovely to boot!"

Re-Union Report:

" Great entertainment for the crowd had there been one. A crazy topsy turvy game. Henleaze took an early two goal lead with a combination of defensive mistakes and good finishing. However, Reunion led 3-2 at half time with Ally Smith scoring two on his return to the club. We were 5-3 up with four minutes to go at which point we completely imploded. Great fight back by Henleaze who were their usual courteous and Corinthian selves , although it was a bit rude to score twice in the last five minutes"
