"A swapped home/away fixture saw Bryan at BAWA with a fierce and bitter wind going straight down the pitch. Kicking against it Bryan laboured to create anything and the Decliners defence were well in control until Alex popped up at the far post on 25 mins to open the scoring. Second followed after a brilliant run from Chris and at 2-0 Bryan looked safe - ish. But Decliners started the second half brightly and pulled a goal back and were unlucky not to get more as they piled on the pressure. A penalty from Jordan and a late goal from Kevan made the score look more unbalanced than it was, Decliners are a fine side and played some good football.
Too bloody cold but a good competitive game played well. "
Decliners FC Report:
" Decliners put in their best performance of the season, but Bryan's clinical finishing was the difference and they ran out convincing winners in the end. An even first half saw them take the lead as a dozing Decliners defence allowed their striker a tap in at the far post. A good breakaway goal followed on the stroke of half time, but we still felt we were in the game. Concerted pressure paid of when Demba squeezed the ball home following a cross from #greatsoul. Decliners were on top and pushing for the equalizer when the award of a harsh penalty for handball tired the game. Right at the death Bryan added a fourth to continue their great run of results. Good game played in the right manner."
