Rapid Dementia Report;

"Mel Gibson showed some interest in Rapids fixture this week and offered his advice on team selection. Manager Gregory thought he sounded a bit drunk so mainly ignored it. The fixture was to be against Bryan Munich who had beaten Rapid right at the start of the season so it was time for 'Payback'. Rapid managed to field a strong line up with our 'Lethal Weapon' Gurner an unhappy sub fresh from his Bony M concert. But the 'Signs' were there from the off about the type of competition Bryan were to provide. Intense pressure and controlled aggression had Rapid on the back foot and despite Scott 'Braveheart' Bond even tackling his own team mates it was to be his early handball in the box that gave Bryan the first chance to take the lead. However the resulting penalty hit both posts before being cleared. Bryan did take the lead before Rapid struck back twice, 'Attack force Z' including Justin Dowling and Jason Curtis working in concert. And so the best and most competitive game of the season flowed, Rapid edging possession and creating great chances with Bryan always dangerous on the counter. The game finished 5 each with the match official denying Rapid a winning penalty in the dying seconds. 'Tim' wouldn't have been happy with that one! Really enjoyable game and Bryan are welcome back anytime!"

Bryan Munich Report:

" Bryan ventured to Radstock with the promise of a game on 3G in the rain, but had their strongest side out to take on the threat of Rapid Dementia. An early penalty gave Bryan the chance to take the lead but it hit both posts and calm out again. No matter, in the 6th minute Bryan took the lead. We then held out for 15 minutes against the free-scoring Rapid before two avoidable goals within 5 minutes. Bryan levelled on the stroke of half time with a glorious move resulting in a fabulous cross and far post header. 2-2 at half time. Then it got really crazy. Rapid scored from the kickoff and then increased the lead. Nothing to lose Bryan made substitutions and changed formation which resulted in pulling one back - 4-3. A curious passage of "defending" made it 5-3 with 10 minutes to go but dogged Bryan dug in and levelled the game with two late goals. Amazing game and Rapid are a really good team who rarely concede - we're honoured to play against them. "
